WARRANTY

All products at Dj's Boardshop have a manufacturer's warranty. Please email us at: info@djsboards.com with any issues so we can assist you in the manufacturer's warranty process. We here at Dj's Boardshop have no final say in the outcome of a warranty claim. The decision squarely rests in the manufacturers hands; we're here to help facilitate the process. Please be prepared to email some photos of the damaged item, if possible. This will help us determine if the warranty claim has a good chance of being accepted. Be aware that customers are responsible for shipping warrantied items to us or the manufacturer. Dj's Boardshop will cover the shipping of the product back to you if the manufacturer accepts the warranty claim.

Snowboards:

Below are a few examples of board damage that would not be covered under warranty:

Board-to-Board Impact

As with a car door ding, these things happen all too often. You and your buddies are waiting for your turn in the lift line when some dude enters into the line a bit too fast and whacks into the back of your board. In some cases this will cause the board to chip and in extreme cases an impact with enough force may cause the edge to separate from the board. The easiest way to identify this type of damage is by the contact markings that are made from someone else's edges.

Board-to-Object Impact

Damage to your snowboard is not always someone else's fault. Most of the time you, as the rider, need to face the music. You may find yourself out riding the backcountry on a warm spring day with slightly less than ideal snow cover. It is exactly these types of conditions when the rocks, normally covered by snow, seem to find their way to the surface or lie in wait just beneath. As you cruise along, the base of your board may impact these rocks. The result of this impact may be simple base gouges, edge bending, or a separation of your edges away from the board. Tell tail signs of this type of damage are detected by a scratch (or scratches) on the bottom leading to, or originating from, the affected area of the board.

Rails, Boxes, and Natural Terrain

Freestyle snowboarding is a huge part of the today's riding scene. Rail riding is now commonplace and has become very popular. All riders should be aware that any time your board comes in contact with a solid structure of any kind, the manufacturer will not warranty any damage or wear to your board. Structures can cause serious damage to your board including: scratches, bending, denting, rolling, or the edge completely separating from the board.

Rolling or separating your edge on a rail or any object is commonly a result of not having your board totally centered on a rail when initially hitting it. Bending or denting your rail occurs by coming up short on a rail and slamming the edge of you board into the rail.

"Nose-Dive" Nose Breaks

In this scenario, let's say that you're having a great day in the park. You decide to hit the big kicker and go for a corked 900. The only problem is that you miss the cork and bury the nose of the board into the top of the jump. In doing so the impact of your unplanned landing causes the nose or tail to flex backward; or in essence under itself. Structurally this is not the direction that a snowboard was designed to flex and this force will ultimately break it. If you bend the board in such a manner other than the designers had intended, the board will break.

Intentional Abuse

Now we know Dj's Boardshop customers would never do this, but it is widely known within the industry that some individuals will try to completely destroy their snowboards in hopes of getting it covered under manufacturer warranty. This will not work. Breaking the board more than it had already been damaged is a common tactic used by some riders.

Bindings:

The loss of screws, bolts and straps are not covered under the manufactures warranty. Be sure to check all screws, bolts and straps prior to riding. In the event you do lose one of these items we can't guarantee we can find a replacement, but feel free to contact us and we'll see what we can find for you.

Plastic straps become brittle in extreme temperatures and can easily break when stepped on. Exercise care when strapping in, as broken straps are not covered under the manufactures warranty. However, in the event of a broken strap contact us and we'll see if we can find a suitable replacement

BOARD BASE

In order to save money, materials, and resources snowboard manufacturers alternate base colors for all die cut bases. The picture below is a good example of two different base colors for the same board. We can not take base color requests as we don't know what colors and quantities of each we'll receive from the manufacturer. At the end of the day it's just your base color. It looks pretty important with the image right next to the board but once you start riding you never see it.

PACKAGE PHILOSOPHY

We love snowboarding and we love seeing people stoked on snowboarding! That's why we spend so much time thinking about, building, and fine tuning our package building process. Whether you're a weekend warrior, or a powder hound or you spend all day in the park, we've got that perfect package for you. If you feel a little overwhelmed by all the choices and need a little help finding your ideal set up click on this icon
and shoot us an email. We'll find you a perfect package or we'll put together a custom package for you.

Form

We know looks aren't everything but it's nice to have tight looking setup. We spend countless hours matching up the best looking boards, boots, and bindings to make sure they work together.

Function

We also spend hours making sure we explain who the package is right for. In the end weight is the most important factor in finding the right board for the rider. We make sure to mention the ideal weight rang e for all of our snowboard packages. Toe drag is also a big pain (when the boot is too long for the waist width of the board and drags during carves). At dj's we factor in board waist width and boot size into every package so you don't have to worry about drag... something other sellers don't do.

Flexibility

If you see a board binding combo that you like but want a different boot, or if you don't see your boot size available in a certain package just give us an email and we'd be happy to help you find your ideal snowboard package.

Feedback

Let us know what you think. While we have a crew of male and female riders that give us feedback on our packages we love to hear directly from the consumer... that's the best feedback

BEST PRICE GUARANTEE

We promise to have the largest selection of snowboard packages. Not only that but we will beat any lower prices on eBay.

To qualify for the price match:

You must email us prior to purchase.

Competing package must still be available for purchase

Competing package must have the exact same board

Competing package must have boots and bindings of the same or higher value
